Laura Garcia Saldaña
Laura started her career with a government project working with families living in extreme poverty, teaching them to grow vegetables and raise livestock effectively and providing group training on how to manage the sale of their agricultural products. She is now using her skills working for Plant your Future as an Outreach Officer and Silviculture Officer. She works across our Ucayali and Huánuco Regions ensuring farmers are supported in their journey to not only establish but also maintain thriving agroforestry systems. Laura holds a BSc in Agricultural Science from the National University of Ucayali. She is currently working to gain practical hands-on experience in Agroforestry in the Ucayali region, and intends in the future to work towards a Masters degree. Away from work she is happiest when spending time with her children, who are her motivation for striving for a better professional and personal life.
