Carlos Mori Saavedra

Carlos has dedicated his career to working for the environment and improving sustainable agriculture in the Peruvian Amazon. As head of office at Agrobanco he evaluated, granted and monitored loans to the agricultural sector, to finance the work of small- and medium-scale farmers. Currently he coordinates Plant Your Future’s reforestation and agroforestry projects in the Loreto region. Carlos has a degree in Agricultural Science from the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, and in the future would like to pursue a Masters degree in Agroforestry. In his free time, Carlos likes to collect and grow orchids.
