Professor Luis Campos Baca, Board Member
Luis has had a distinguished career in leadership roles across Peru. He is a principal professor at the
National University of the Peruvian Amazon and holds a doctorate in biology. Luis earned his biology
degree from the National University of Trujillo, followed by a Master of Science from the Universit
of Southern Illinois, and a Doctorate in Environmental Science from the National University of
Trujillo. He has also held a visiting fellowship at the Watson Institute, Brown University. In addition
to his academic work, Luis has served as president of the Research Institute of the Peruvian Amazon
(IIAP) and as a Congressman for Loreto. We are honoured to have Luis serve on our board.
