LEYDY LILIANA HERNANDEZ FLORES, Nursery Assistant
Leydy is from one of the local villages where Plant Your Future operates and has a deep-rooted
connection to the community’s agricultural practices. She began her journey in the organisation’s
tree nursery, where she received hands-on training in plant care and nursery management. Afte
successfully completing the Plant Your Future scholarship programme, Leydy was promoted to her
current role, where she oversees the germination and growth of tree saplings, as well as managing
agricultural crops such as chili peppers and cocoa. With a natural aptitude for plant care and a strong
work ethic, Leydy has become an integral part of the organisation’s reforestation efforts. Her
expertise in nurturing plants and managing nursery operations contributes significantly to the
success of Plant Your Future’s environmental restoration projects.
