Field Visit with Our Distinguished Board Member
Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome Dr. Luis Campos Baca, our esteemed Board Member at Planta tu Futuro, to our agroforestry systems in Loreto. Dr. Campos Baca visited smallholder farmers and explored our thriving agroforestry systems, featuring a mix of native trees, timber species, cocoa, and guaba.
He also had the opportunity to present certificates to our placement students from the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, recognising their valuable contributions to the project.
Dr. Luis Campos Baca is a valued member of the Planta tu Futuro Board and currently serves as Principal Professor at the National University of the Peruvian Amazon (UNAP). With a distinguished career that includes serving as President of the Research Institute of the Peruvian Amazon (IIAP), Dr. Campos Baca brings extensive expertise in sustainable development and environmental science to our mission in the Amazon
