CARLOS ALBERTO MORI SAAVEDRA, Regional Director – Loreto
Carlos has extensive experience in environmental conservation and promoting sustainable
development among smallholder farmers in the Amazon. His work includes facilitating agricultural
credits through the Agrobank programme and contributing to the establishment and management
of forest, agroforestry, and silvopastoral plots along the Iquitos-Nauta road. Carlos’s commitment to
reforesting degraded land reflects his lifelong passion for environmental restoration.
