Forests are a low tech but high impact way to fight climate change — Scientific American

8 Apr , 2019 Our News

This April (2019) CEO of Rainforest Alliance, Han de Groot, wrote an article in the Scientific American. The article, Forests are a low tech but high impact way to fight climate change, makes the point that the best technology we need to fight the ever increasingly worrying effects of global warming isn’t a technology at all — it’s trees.

Plant Your Future are restoring the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest with sustainable agroforestry systems that create a better life for all its inhabitants. Read more about the impact we’re making on climate change and donate just £10 today to help us plant and nurture 5 trees. Those trees will create habitat for wildlife, income for farmers and storage for the harmful carbon dioxide in our atmosphere — providing a better, more sustainable and cleaner life for us all.
