Luis Huamantoma Padilla
Agroforestry Specialist, Huánuco
Luis began his career working in sustainable forest extraction, moving on to work in nurseries in Huánuco and Alto Uniría. As an Agroforestry Specialist for Plant Your Future, Luis trains Huánuco farmers around our hub in Semuya to restore their degraded forest land, explaining the principles of agroforestry and supporting them as they set up, plant and maintain their new sustainable farming systems. Luis is from Huánuco, with his family home located in a close proximity to our tree nursery. He studied Forestry at the Swiss Institute of Higher Technology, and would like in the future to study for a degree in Environmental Science.
